CMA BC’s 4^th Annual Case Competition Information

General Information

Teams: Teams must consist of 4 team members who are 1st and/or 2nd year full-time students in a Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce program at a Post Secondary Institution in British Columbia.

Requirements: Team members must complete and submit the attached CMA BC Case Competition Application Form by the Friday October 15^th deadline.

Accommodation: This year, all teams who compete in the final round of the competition will receive a complimentary night at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel the evening of Friday, November 5^th. Each team will receive two double rooms for case competition participants only. Any other transportation (flights, ferries, parking, etc) and/or accommodation costs will not be covered by the Society of Certified Management Accountants of British Columbia (CMA BC).

Important Dates

Application Deadline: Friday, October 15^th at 8:00am.

Final Team Selection: Friday, October 15^th at 5:00pm (teams will be notified by email if they have been selected to participate in the final round of the competition).

Final Round of the Competition

Case Workshop: Friday, November 5^th from 12:00pm – 4:30pm at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel (1180 West Hastings Street, Downtown Vancouver).

Case Competition: Saturday, November 6^th from 8am – 5pm at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel (1180 West Hastings Street, Downtown Vancouver).

Awards Presentation: Following the CMA BC Case Competition, an awards presentation will take place on Thursday, November 18^th at CMA BC’s annual networking wine and cheese soiree at V-Lounge (Earl’s Restaurant) in Yaletown. All case competition award recipients are welcome to attend the event.
