We have a preliminary organization of social groups in which you can join and take part of the FMA.

What does that mean?

• You can have a part in planning and executing either corporate sponsor events or even your dwelled ideas.
• Work in teams to design plans and come up with ideas for new events
• Meet your peers from other sets and get a chance to work with them
• Meet our sponsors and people from industry who one day can get you employment

The most simple answer: To Secure yourself a Job; it's true, that's why your at BCIT right? Two years compressed into an unsurmountable load of school work, all just to land yourself a good paying job. So, why not increase the odds of getting a job by joining the Financial Management Association.

Leadership Experience:

• Learn to lead and find out about yourself in real life situations
• Add this asset to your resume and skills; employers do take notice!
• Learn what most employers consider to be "soft skills", managing and listening to your team. Most people to get to experience this until they are in a managing position in a company, thats more than 5 years away!

Networking Experience:

• Demonstrate to employers and recruiters that you were involved in the production of a certain event
• Important! Employers actually remember who you are, which means when you apply to a firm in the future your application automatically stands out to them
