It is fast approaching, unfortunately for most, but September 7 is the first day of the Fall 2010 - 2011 school year at BCIT. On this day new students to the Financial Management program and all other programs are required to take part in an on campus orientation. At this orientation students will be introduced to key faculty, student clubs, and administrative staff, in addition to having pictures taken for student cards and receive key information regarding the upcoming school year.
This event is always well organized and a great start to the year. This year the FMA would like to have a strong presence at this event to let new students know the benefits of joining the association. We will have an information booth in the great hall as well as an introduction during the second part of orientation day with first year Fin Man. students.

This year the FMA is proud to present this year's recruits with a brand new marketing tool - the FMA Recruiting Photobook. The premise behind the Photobook is to provide recruiters with a face behind the name they receive from networking events. Over the course of September, recruiters meet hundreds of students, in light of this the FMA wants to provide its members with a leg up on the competition and help in any way possible to find employment.
Please click here to register for the Photobook opportunity, there will be a small nominal charge, we hope to keep it below $10 in order to help process the photos etc. These would be head shots in formal business wear and the registration contains fields such as position sought, expected graduation date, and degree that will be displayed with your picture in the Photobook.
Good luck in the recruiting season and we hope you take advantage of this opportunity! |
