First, thank you to all those that came out to vote and show their support for the candidates. I am proud to say that we had a record amount of voters (over 200!!) so each candidate should be very proud of their campaign, especially given the time of year. Without further delay, the winners of the 2011 FMA Election and your new Executive team for 2012 are:
Michelle Hui - President
Leslie Hong - VP Finance & Administration
William Kim - VP Internal
Daniel Huh - VP Marketing

Dear FMA Members:
Hope your classes are all going well so far! We just wanted to inform everyone that we will be taking orders and collecting payment for FMA business cards on Wednesday, February 1st in the Great Hall (we will have a table with the FMA banner). We understand that this is a very short notice, so we will be making another order very soon for those that don’t meet this cut-off.
We have finalized the details for the business cards. They will cost $20 for 100 cards. To keep things simple we would like for those that are interested in ordering FMA business cards to do the following:
Be prepared to have the following information that will be printed on the cards available:
a. Full name
b. Title (B. Tech Accounting Degree Candidate, BBA Degree Candidate or Dip. T Financial Management Candidate)
c. Phone number
d. Email
In order for your business cards to be processed, we must have received payment from you by Wednesday, February 1st 4:00 pm. If for whatever reason you are not able to meet us on this day, not to worry, we will put you in for the next order.

The FMA and BCIT are proud to host the first ever BCACC CA Speaker Series. ICABC has a great guest speaker for this event, which will be held on Feb. 17th from 2:30-4:00 pm at BCIT SW1 1205.
Erfan Kazemi, 35, became CFO of Sandstorm Gold Ltd, a $500 million company, by the age of 32. Erfan is a very impressive young individual and he’ll have some very valuable information to share.
Erfan will present for about 30-45 minutes and there will be plenty of time for Q&A afterwards.

Hi Everyone,
Happy New Year! Hope you all had a wonderful break. We just wanted to thank everyone who came out and voted for the FMA Elections. We really appreciate the support we received. As your 2012 Exec Team we will do our very best to give you opportunities to network with professionals and accounting/business students from BCIT and other schools.
